Ich habe gerade gelesen, dass das Deutsche Institut (Botschaft) 2012 ins Taipei 101 Gebäude ziehen wird. Dort sind die Mieten sicher deutlich höher als wie bisher. Das erklärt wahrscheinlich auch die absolut übertriebenen Preiserhöhungen für Konsularangelegenheiten in den letzten Monaten, dabei wird das doch sowieso alles von Steuergeldern bezahlt. In Taiwan gibt es Weihnachten Offiziell nicht, allerdings sind die Menschen hier doch ein wenig in Weihnachtslaune. Zumindest was das Shopping angeht. Mein Windows Phone hat ja eingebautes GPS und mit Sygic MobileMaps Taiwan habe ich auch eine brauchbare Navigationssoftware gefunden, die Taiwan mit Englischen Strassenamen abbildet.
