Happy New Year from Taiwan!

We decided to go to see the Taipei 101 firework despite the cold and rainy weather in Keelung. The weather is different in Taipei anyway, thats what people usually say and it’s true. Just 20km further after the mountains, the sky was clear and no rain at all. Perfect conditions for a firework. We took out scooter from Keelung to Nangang MRT and then took the MRT to Taipei City Hall station where the 101 is located. Thousands of people where already there but getting a very good place to see the firework show wasn’t hard and leaving was easy as well. We had to wait around 10 minutes at the MRT after leaving the show but that’s it. So when your friends say “are you crazy? so many people there! don’t go! watch it on the telly!” – go anyway! It was awesome direct in front of it to see the firework show. Whats for next year? New York?
